Videos...

Here are the videos I took from the day Ross got his mission call. Ross, Jake and I drove down to Sherman to meet up with all of our family and get the great news that Ross will be heading to SAN DIEGO! Time has flown since then and he has about 6 weeks before he leaves. I have to try not to think about it to avoid panic attacks! I'm extremely nervous and anxious, so I can only imagine how he feels. I am also extremely proud and excited for him...so I just try to concentrate on those emotions!

First Video - Driving home to Sherman...me, Jake & Ross....

Second video - Getting the letter out of the mail box...

Third video - Reading the mission call! Whoop!

Fourth video - Reading the call for the second time...maybe you can hear it better since I'm not screaming this time!

Let the countdown begin!!!

Dear Elder Little....

You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the California San Diego Mission. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 24 months.

You should report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Spanish language. Your assignment may be modified according to the needs of the mission president.

And there you have it. We're all VERY excited! :)

Welcome!

Welcome to the new blog!!!

Ross will be leaving in early January to serve a mission for our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We are excited to find out soon where he will be going. Any ideas?! I'll post soon when Ross gets his call and put up a video of the whole event so all of you wonderful family and friends who can't be there will get to be a part of the moment...better late than never!

Thanks in advance for all of your support for Ross and his desire to serve the Lord. We are very proud of him and know he will be greatly blessed for the sacrifices he will be making.
